Cornell is a small unincorporated community in the wine country of the
Santa Monica Mountains in western
Los Angeles County, north of
Malibu, south of Agoura Hills, and immediately west of
Malibou Lake. Seminole Hot Springs, another small community in the Santa Monica Mountains, is located to the southeast. Many of the homes are built on large land parcels and many of the homeowners have horses. There are numerous hiking and riding trails in the area. Peacocks roam the area which is also home to rabbits, coyotes, and bobcats.
Cornell Recognition Campaign
The Cornell Recognition Campaign is an organization of local homeowners whose purpose is to preserve and promote the unincorporated community of Cornell.
