East Hollywood is a community within the City of Los Angeles with a population of more than 79,000 people. Los Feliz is to the north, Silver Lake is to the east, Filipinotown is to the southeast, Koreatown is to the south, and Hollywood is to the west. East Hollywood is home to Los Angeles City College and the Barnsdall Art Park. It encompasses both Little Armenia and Thai Town. East Hollywood is bound by Hollywood Boulevard on the north, Hoover Street on the east, Beverly Boulevard on the south, and Western Avenue on the west.
Franklin Hills is an affluent neighborhood adjacent to Los Feliz, Silver Lake, and East Hollywood. It is home to the famous Shakespeare Bridge that was built in 1926.
